Children's Liturgy of the Word

At 10am Sunday mass, children are lead through prayers, songs and the Sunday readings that are simplified for them.  The children learn about the same gospel reading as the rest of the assembly but are taught in language they can understand and encouraged to share that message with their parents after the mass.

To Participate: Children aged pre-school through 1st grade are invited to follow the CLW leader to the Narthex just before the Liturgy of the Word begins. 

To Volunteer:  It takes 4 volunteers each week for CLW - 1 lead and 3 helpers. But it is only a 20 minute commitment out of the full mass time, the lessons are provided by the CLW coordinator and you can get the activity guides from CatholicMom.com.
